Dockhand™ (“Dockhand,” “we,” “us”) provides software that marinas use to run launches, service, rentals, slips, storage, and member clubs. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Dockhand you agree to this policy.

Account & roster data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and roles for marina staff and members, including boats, storage assignments, and membership tiers your marina enters or imports.

Usage data: requests, reservations, messages, and activity created in the app, along with basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the service.

Payment data: when a marina enables online payments, card and payout details are processed by Stripe. Dockhand does not store full card numbers.

To provide the service: dispatching launches and service, managing rentals, slips, storage, and clubs, and sending booking and status notifications by email and push.

To operate, secure, and improve Dockhand, and to provide support.

We do not sell your personal information.

Within your marina: staff and managers can see the member and operational data needed to run the marina. Members see their own information.

Service providers: we use vetted processors such as Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email) strictly to deliver the service.

Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

Each marina’s data is isolated from every other marina’s.

We retain data for as long as a marina maintains its account and as needed for the purposes above. Marinas can export their data and request deletion of their account data.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with access controlled by role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

Members can update their profile and notification preferences in the app, and opt out of non-essential notifications. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact your marina or reach us at the address below.
